About Marie
Marie Verde is a history nerd and author of the new fantasy series Tales of Enda. Marie grew up in California and studied in Italy for a year, surrounded by medieval palaces, towers, and a bridge with a secret passageway. Eventually, this inspired her to create a world for the strange creatures she found in medieval manuscripts, resulting in the Island of Enda, where fantasy creatures live side-by-side with their human neighbors.
When not creating new mythicals for her books, Marie enjoys painting watercolors, gardening, and reading. She lives in Texas with her husband and daughters. Oh, and a pooka who pretends to be a cat.
